Installing Vflo™

Vflo™ is provided as standard Windows installer package that guides users through the installation procedure. In order to install Vflo™ it is necessary to accept the terms of the End User License Agreement (EULA) shown in the installer.

The Vflo™ license

Desktop Vflo™ is issued under a single-user license. In order to run Vflo™, the license file must be in the 'license' subdirectory of the directory containing the Vflo™ executable. The license is specific to a single computer; if the license is transferred to another computer or network address, the license will no longer function and Vflo™ will not run.

When Vflo™ is run on a computer with a missing or invalid license, the license request dialog is shown. This dialog allows the user to fill in their pertinent information and automatically request a license from Vieux and Associates, Inc. The automated license request process sends information uniquely identifying the computer from which the request was made. Should the computer not be connected to the internet, this identifying information is instead displayed to the user and the user must contact Vieux and Associates, Inc., via email at licenserequest@vieuxinc.com, directly.
